Software platform

The software for DIS display has not been developed, and that's one
of the primary goals of this project.
But several elements of what is needed are contained
in existing software. Instead of starting from scratch, our approach
will be to demonstrate the component functions of DIS display software
in a modification of an existing software project, and then further
modify that project to suit the particular needs of DIS. At some point
it will be given a new name and exist as an independent DIS display
platform.
